About Us
Thee Open House Project is a community resource for theatre audiences dedicated to making shows more accessible for marginalized artists. This project aims to "open the house" for folks who would otherwise be unable to afford to see shows.Theatre should be for all of us, so we want to provide tickets for the passionate artists who deserve to see themselves on stages across the country—not just on Broadway, but at professional theaters everywhere. Our hope is that if we combat this specific inequity, we can help people realize their dreams.Free tickets are just the beginning; we dream of ultimately creating opportunities for master classes, training, class trips, and much more!

FAQ
What is Thee Open House Project?
We are a community organization that is working to make theatre more accessible for all. Find out more by going to our about us page.
Are you a 501(c)(3) organization?
Not at the moment! It is expensive and time-consuming to get 501(c)(3) status, but we may pursue the title in the future. For now, we are just a mutual aid organization, funded and supported by and for those we serve.
How can I donate?
At this moment we are not accepting monetary donations, but if you are interested in donating (a) ticket(s), check out our "Looking to Offer Tickets?" page.
I have another question.
Feel free to contact us via email if you have any other questions, comments, or concerns, and we will respond as soon as possible!
Media
To showcase some of the work we have done, we ask those impacted by our work to take and share pictures and videos of their experiences. Here we wanted to share and highlight this media we have received and inspired.
